Top Notes — Spearmint, Sweet Basil
Spearmint is the gentler, sweeter cousin of Peppermint — cooling without being medicinal. Sweet Basil gives a green, slightly floral herbaceous note that smells like sunshine on a herb garden, not a wok.
Heart Notes — Eucalyptus, Green Tea
Eucalyptus adds cool, transparent airiness that lifts the herbs off the kitchen and into the garden. Green Tea brings clean, vegetal delicacy that makes the composition feel refined.
Base Notes — White Musk, Cedarwood
White Musk extends the fresh herb notes. Cedarwood adds subtle woody grounding that prevents the fragrance from feeling one-dimensional.

How to Use Your Glass Candle
First burn — full melt pool: Let wax pool reach the glass edge. Prevents tunneling.
Trim wick: 5–6mm before every burn.
Never blow out: Tilt glass or use the wooden lid.
Replace lid after use: Preserves fragrance oil.
Stop at 1–2cm remaining wax.
Burn safely: Away from wind, flammables, children and pets.
Storage: Cool, dry place away from sunlight and heat.

How to use

Before the first burn, trim the wick to about 5 mm and stand the candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface.

On the first burn, let it burn until the melted wax reaches the edge of the jar — this stops the candle tunnelling and gives a full scent every time after.

Put it out with a snuffer, or dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it — rather than blowing hard.

Let the wax set before the next burn, and trim the wick back to about 5 mm every time.

Once cool, put the wooden lid back on to keep dust out and the scent in.
Tips
- Pair it with a reed diffuser in the same scent: the reeds give a background scent all day, the candle adds warmth and glow while you are home.
- For guests, light it a little ahead of time with the door closed — the scent fills the room faster.
- If the flame grows tall or smokes, put it out, let it cool and trim the wick shorter before relighting.
- Your nose gets used to a scent quickly — after a while in the same room it seems to fade while someone walking in still notices it. Use it in intervals or rotate scents rather than adding more.
- Prefer no flame? Use it under a candle warmer lamp — the lamp melts the top of the wax instead.
Where to place it
- On a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface, in the room you are in.
- Clear of curtains, shelves, plants and anything flammable; keep several candles well apart.
- Avoid Under an air-conditioner, in front of a fan or by a draughty window — the flame flickers, soots and melts the wax unevenly.
- Avoid Anywhere children or pets can reach or knock it.
- Avoid On plastic or any surface that does not take heat, without a heat-proof mat.
How long it lasts
- Size: 240 g
- Total burn time about 40–50 hours
- Burn for 2–4 hours at a time — never more than 4 hours in one go.
- Stop when about 1 cm of wax is left at the bottom of the jar.
Storage
- Keep the wooden lid on between burns to keep dust out and the scent in.
- Store somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sun — heat and sunlight soften the wax and fade the scent.
- Do not leave it in a car or anywhere very hot.

- Never leave a lit candle unattended or burning while you sleep.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets, and away from anything flammable.
- The jar gets hot while burning and after — do not touch or move it until it has cooled.
- Put it out at once if the flame is tall, smokes, or reaches the side of the jar.
- Never use water to put it out — hot wax can splatter.
