The Story of Three Ingredients

French Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia): The heart of this oil. True French Lavender — grown in the high-altitude fields of Provence — is the gold standard of lavender aromatics. Unlike Lavandin (a common hybrid used in cheaper products), French Lavender has a clean, refined, non-sharp character with a perfect balance of floral, herbal, and slightly sweet notes. The high altitude, stony soil, and dry Provencal sun produce lavender with exceptional Linalool content — the source of its clear, refined scent.

Clary Sage (Salvia sclarea): The ingredient that elevates Nordic Lavender beyond ordinary lavender products. Clary Sage adds an earthy, slightly honeyed depth that gives the blend a three-dimensional quality — making it feel like a living herb rather than a fragrance extract. Together, lavender and Clary Sage are one of perfumery's classic pairings — floral and herbal, bright and grounded.

White Musk: The finishing layer that unifies and extends the blend. White musk here is soft, clean and close — adding a warmth that keeps the lavender from feeling cold or austere, and ensuring the fragrance lingers in the room long after the diffuser is turned off.

How to Use Nordic Lavender Aromatic Oil

Ultrasonic Diffuser: Add 2–3 drops per 100 ml of water to the tray (a drop or two more for a stronger scent). For an evening bedroom mood, run for 30–60 minutes before bedtime. For a light, all-day presence, run in 30-minute intervals throughout the day. Nordic Lavender performs optimally in ultrasonic diffusers, which preserve the aromatic compounds without heat degradation.

Aroma Stone: Drop 3–5 drops on a porous lava or ceramic stone placed beside the bed. The stone releases lavender gently throughout the night — consistent enough to keep a relaxed mood, subtle enough not to overwhelm.

Reed Diffuser: Blend at 20–30% into a reed diffuser base. Nordic Lavender in a reed diffuser transforms any bedroom or bathroom into a personal spa — a consistent, hotel-like lavender presence at all times.
