Aromatic & essential oils for burners and diffusers — scent a whole room
The Moose Scented aromatic oils are concentrated and true-to-scent, for use with oil warmers and ultrasonic diffusers. Just a few drops transform the mood of a whole room.
They suit anyone who likes to blend their own signature scent and control the intensity drop by drop.
Because they are concentrated, they are economical and long-lasting — store them cool and out of light to keep their quality, and pair scents you love to build your home’s signature accord. Every bottle is made in Thailand under GMP standards.
Essential oils and fragrance oils are not the same thing, and we sell both — each product page says which it is. An essential oil is distilled from the plant itself, so it smells exactly like that plant: lavender soft and herbal, eucalyptus cool and clean. A fragrance oil is a blend, giving a more complex and more stable scent than any single plant can. Both work in a diffuser or an aroma burner — choose the plant-distilled one if you love a single, true-to-plant scent, and a fragrance oil if you want a layered accord.
How to choose and use aromatic oils
- •Choose by mood: lavender/chamomile for a calm, relaxing room; citrus/peppermint for a bright, fresh one.
- •How to use: drop the oil into the water of an ultrasonic diffuser or the dish of an oil warmer (add water per your device’s guide).
- •For diffusing only — do not apply directly to skin, and do not ingest.
- •Store cool and out of sunlight to preserve scent and quality.
- •Dose: 2–3 drops per 100 ml of water in an ultrasonic diffuser — a drop or two more for a stronger scent; three to five in an aroma burner.
- •Never on skin: essential oil is strong, undiluted and made for a diffuser or an aroma burner only. If you spill some on your skin, wash it off with soap and water.
- •Pets: cats are sensitive to several essential oils, tea tree and citrus especially — only diffuse in a room a cat can walk out of.
Frequently asked questions
Which diffusers can I use these oils with?
They work with ultrasonic diffusers, candle or electric oil warmers, and oil reed sets. Follow your device’s recommended ratio.
How is this different from perfume?
Aromatic oils are made to scent a space (rooms, via a burner or diffuser), not to be worn on skin like perfume, which is formulated specifically for the body.
Can I use essential oil in a reed diffuser?
Not neat. An essential oil evaporates too fast and has no carrier to wick all the way up a rattan reed. Our reed diffusers are sold pre-filled as a set and are not designed to be topped up, and essential oil must never go into a Smart Scent Diffuser either — it clogs the nozzle. Keep it for an ultrasonic diffuser or an aroma burner.
