Hand-poured soy-wax candles — natural scents, clean long burn
The Moose Scented candles are hand-poured from 100% natural soy wax, blended with carefully selected fragrance and botanical essential oils. They burn cleaner than ordinary paraffin candles — no black soot — and throw their scent evenly across a room.
A standard 200g candle burns for roughly 40-50 hours, ideal for bedrooms, living rooms and work nooks. It sets a calming mood and gently masks unwanted household odours.
Our candles are designed for an even scent throw — they give a soft cold throw even unlit, which makes them lovely as decor and as housewarming gifts. Each is hand-poured in Thailand under GMP and ISO standards in a reusable glass vessel.
How to choose the right candle
- •Room size: small rooms (bedroom/bathroom) suit a 200g candle; larger living rooms suit 400g.
- •Scent family: florals and lavender relax you before sleep; woods and citrus refresh and aid focus.
- •Occasion: pick lighter scents for everyday use and richer ones for special moments.
- •Safety: trim the wick to 5mm before each burn for a longer, soot-free flame.
Frequently asked questions
Are soy-wax candles safe around pets?
Soy wax burns cleanly and releases fewer compounds than paraffin, but always burn in a ventilated space, keep candles out of pets’ reach, and avoid very strong scents in a closed room with small animals.
Why does my candle tunnel down the middle?
It happens when the first burn is too short. On the first light, let the wax melt all the way to the edge of the glass (about 2-3 hours) to "set the memory" of the candle and prevent tunneling.
How long does one candle last?
A 200g candle lasts roughly 40-50 hours and a 400g candle 80-100 hours, depending on wick care and your environment.
